Short Intro to Guild Bases

The Floating Bases are a stronghold for a Guild. Once obtained it can be used to assist its leader and its members in making/crafting and obtaining items that you may not get in the regular world of Forsaken World.

Floating Bases are also the first step too a level 4 guild. As your members build it up it changes and grows along with your hard work. A living proof of your members hard work and dedication for visitors too see.


Part I: Requirements & Information for Bidding



There are two parts nessary in being able to bid on a base once it becomes avalable. Part of it is your guilds hard
work and dedication and the second is the servers devlopment.

Requirements for YOUR guild to be able to bid on a  floating base is the following:

  • Lvl 3 Guild
    6000 Contrabution Points
    2 diamonds [actual money not soul coins]

[Hint: to get Contribution points your members must do the daily guild quests through Jessica near the Magic Fountain in Harbor. She gives you envelopes to pick out 3 quests a day to get credit for. And 1 Daily Donation Quest.]

HINT: You will probably find yourself and your members saving more then the 2 diamond requirement to bid. As it can become a all out war of bidding to get the castles. So expect to fork out a good chunk of money if you really want a floating castle.

[ In Close Beta the winning bids where around 3 diamonds or a little over.For an example.]


Requirements for the Server and other guilds are the following:

  • Server must be at 100%  by a upcoming Monday (Its also assumed after so may progressions of 100%)
    If it has met the requirement then at 18:00 server time, Lawrence [ In Harbor by the magic fountain] will open up
    the bases for auction/bidding. Bidding will continue until that Wensday around the same time however bases can end at anytime with the time frame for auctions.
  • Each guild can choose 3 options for their bid. If there are no free slots to bid, you need to overbid an existing bid.
    Every new bid in a taken slot costs 10% more

- HINT: THE MORE GUILDS that meet the above requirements for a lvl3 guild. The more bases Lawrance will open up for bidding!
- HINT: The end of the bidding is announcements made in yellow with roses flying everywhere to congrat you for
claiming your base.




Part II: How to Enter your Guild Base

How do I get there?

You can get too your guild base in three diffrent ways. The first way is the "easy" way when you are in any city. Such as Harbor City for example. You can go to your Transporter NPC [Green Crystal] On the map and you can instantly transport too the base.



Second way of getting to the castle. Is by its specific tracking stone on the map that the base belongs too.  [Purple Tracking Stone]. When you click on the purple stone it will ask you which guild base you want to go too. It will list off the owned bases.



Later on when open, your local seller will be selling the specific three items listed at the bottom of the window.
[Shown above]. This is activated when your guild builds Trade Post. They are items used in the Trade Run quests and this will be one of the main ways your guild base can obtain money.


Last way, is also while you are in Harbor. Lawrence the male npc that handles guild creation, bidding on bases, and buying items with merit. He will also be more then happy to teleport you to your guild base as well. So depending on where you are in the city there will be two "in town ways".

Part III: Main NPCs Quests


Guild Site Manager


This is one of the first of the three NPC's that are very importent. These are the quests that must be done daily in
order to keep your base.

- Adjust Base Entrence Fee
(only if you are a Financial Officer)



This option will allow you too adjust the fee for those that come in and out of your base.[Like..charging someone
to go see a movie...entrence fee.]

- Do You Want more Information?
[Explains everything to you]

! Base Daily Affair (Importent Quest)*****
- You will need Construction Orders each day. Every base quest consumes a single Construction Order. Members in the guild will need to do the various base quests everyday so your guild has enough money and resources to function
properly. Unless everyone particpate the base will not progress.



Lvl 40-59 can draw 4 Construction Orders everyday
Each Envalope contains 4 quests so that is a TOTAL of 16
that you can do daily between these said lvls.



Castle Warden


This is the Second NPC. His quests become avalable after you complete construction of your base to lvl 1 Castle.
You can get castle renewal quests by using the Construction Order Forms. Finshing the Renewal quests bring you extra guild funds, Contribution value, Zeal value and Economy Value.  There are four steps, each provides a larger reward than the  last.

Guild Base Construction Manager *Updated 12/31/10* lol missed info.


She is the third main npc. Responsable for helping you build up your castle as she carrys the Guild base Construction Tree. [Will explain/break down that in the next part.]

- She is the npc also that AFTER you as the leader start a construction. That you require your members go to her to use their envelopes on her only to assist the progression of the construction. Once the building hits its required construction number THEN you as the guild leader may unvail it and members can now use that building.

-Construction maxs at 100-130 a day depending on how many do it. So it can go pretty quick. So once it maxs out per day, you should suggest your members to go do other quests until server resets to finish construction of a building.


Part IV: Guild Tree and Requirements






For any of you who have played any stratagy game where you build up cities.(Civilization or flash based like Evony) You have to build up your place, to unlock certian other buildings or meet certian requirements. Which is why the quests and having gold is very importent.


[This can be now accessed under Guild Tab, under Base then Construction.]

You will be able to see the progress of construction for each building that is in progress.(one at a time). It will let other guild members know how close the guild is. Also you will now be able to see what buildings or upgrades the guild already has on their base.  You can also simply look at the Base tab to see the basic statistics of your Guild's stats.

Lvl 1:

      Reduces the Bases Maitenance Cost by 5%
      Gives two x2 EXP scrolls every week
      Makes Residence Quests Avilable
      (Economy,Civillization)
      Maitenance COst: 4 Gold/Day


    • Trading Post lvl 1
      Required Building Quest Amount: 200
      Required ACtivity: 2000
      Costs 3000 Economy
      40G

    What You Get:
    • Increases Prosperity by 200
      Makes Business Trips available
      Makes Financial Officer Assignment Available
      Increase Daily Taxation Cap by 10 Gold
      Increases Max Tax Rate to 5%
      MAitenance COst: 4 Gold/Day

    • Dining Hall lvl1
      Required Building Quest Amount: 200
      Required Activity: 2000
      Costs 1000 Economy
      Costs Civillization 2000
      40 Gold

    What You Get:
    • Increases Prosperity by 2000
      Makes Home Officer Assignment Available
      Makes Banquet Function Available
      Can Learn Socialite Skills
      Can Take Banquet Quests
      Maitenance Cost: 4 Gold/Day

    • Valt Lvl 1
      Required Building Quest Amount: 200
      Required ACtivity: 2000
      Requires Trading Post LVL1
      Requires Residence LVL 1

    Part III: Other NPC's/Items/Goods
    [Note: This will change update/as I bring more information as our base grows]

    Guild Base Logistics Dealer


    This ugly little guy is your main dealer for LVL 5 recipes for Cooking/Alchemy. he also provides you with some special/rare materials that are required in making these items. He also is your seller for the Guild Mount for both lvl30 and higher lvl.

    Lvl 30 Mount. 50 Merit & 27gold


    Cooking Recipes


    Supplies


    Alchemy Recipes



    Arms and Artisian NPC & Craftsman NPCs



    These guys provide you with T3 and T4 Gear recipes (60 gears) Also Recipes for Off-hand, and Weapons. Also you will find some rare materials that you can buy with actual gold. They are all clumped together in the same area in a corner down below.  Here are some of the things you can get.






    Other NPCS: BEING UPDATED AS WE UNLOCK THEM  - updated 12/31/10

    Castle lvl 1 add on NPCs when built:
    Dining Hall Manager


    - She provides more quests that you can choose to use your daily construction envelopes.  This will help build more economy/Civilization (Recommended to take multiple quests to clear your envelopes faster).

    The little guy next to her provides:
    - Banquet Quest (which can be activated with a certain amount of Merit with a larger XP boost. Somewhat in the same fashion of the afk zones for gaining Rep and small amounts of exp.) Only difference is its for guildies only and its larger exp then regular.

    -Also Socialite points earned (think at lvl 2 though havent seen it yet.)

    Vault Manager


    - Opens more quests to assist in gaining stats/funds for the guild base. (recommended to clear ur envelopes)
    - Also gives you personal access too your stash instead of going into laggy harbor zone.
    - The guy next to him will give you 14gold soul coins a week (free too all guild members.)


    Guild Housing Manager


    - Opens more quests to assist the guild base (and clear your daily envelopes faster)
    - Lady Next to him will provide you with 2 free double exp scrolls a week. ( 4 scrolls at lvl 2)

    Trade Post Manager

    - Opens the Trade Route Quests for you to run, the largest way for the guild to make money is by running these quests to the local mercury agents. (reported bugged unless you need to do the official mercury quest to be able to do trade runs for guild...not sure as its been reported that some members cannot do it for some odd reason.)

    - Also if you are a financial ranked manager you can see who has been gaining or loosing the base money.


    Lvl 2 Castle Base NPCS: Coming Soon Smiley


    NPC's like these above are the ones  that will belong to the buildings as they are constructed. Once the building is available quests and more will be available from them as time passes. More Quests = Good. These quests are just as important as the main ones at entrance, as they will each play a roll in assisting the guild base gain the required stats to progress. [IE: Magic, Belief, Civilization, Economy, Activity.]


    More to come later Tongue when more unlocks. Or if anyone has questions that I can answer by adding in.

    OMG this is a one day development guide I think.
    Thank you Ashai for making the tremendous effort and crafting this EXCELLENT GUIDE!

    As a Wicked member I wish to congratulate all of you guys who participated, got involved in the guild and made this possible. you and Krogger especially!

    It is hard working but not THAT espesive Eternal.
    The idea is that the quests made my members are rewarded with real gold and that gold automatically goes to guild funds. So if everyone does his share of quests, base can prosper

    PS: this sounds too expensive for my taste tho...

    The only expensive part is bidding..but if you pull together as a large group its not that bad.

    The rest of the money needed to build buildings is actually done through quests Smiley the base gets money (and whatever type if its econ/civilization/magic/ect) from the quests and then the player gets a large chunk of soul coins and hax experance Smiley

    Ok, that makes sense.
    Remember I haven't touched FW in ages but when I was playing, the max someone had was 30-40 gold.So yeah...3 diamonds seem to be like a lot.

    I know :3.

    But yeh thats how it works. Base gets money through the quests, but the player gets rewarded really nice exp, and soul coins, merit (for goodies) and the base gets the other stats which are provided by each building.

    But also the other up reward is that each building provides really nice stuff that makes 3diamonds worth it.

    And I think guilds if they worked it out/planned it out ahead of time between them and members that wouldnt be hard as long as everyone was dedicated in getting one Smiley

    Updated Information today. 12/31/10

    Added information for Other NPCs. AS we have unlocked them

    - Housing Manager

    - Vault Manager

    Information on lvl 2 npcs for "Other npcs" coming soon hopefully we'll have that unlocked this coming week, or our allies Immortals will be nice too add in some help :3 maybe.
